Hey, I’m Rayssa. It’s pronounced HIESA and that’s why everybody calls me Ray, it’s just easier. I’ve been managing Trek for the past years and I completely love it. All the way from Brazil you might catch some of my pronunciation mistakes or strong accent but please, give me a break, it’s my second language! When I’m not at Trek, I’m around. Jokes, but kinda true. I love watching Netflix, singing and talking to my friends & family back home. Come for a chat whenever you want some tips from a foreigner living in the coolest capital in the world!
Hi, my name is Mariana and I am from Brazil.
I have been with Trek about 2 years in total, I started as a housekeeper and now I am the Housekeeping Supervisor.
So if you make a mess, I will be there to save the day!
When I’m not at Trek, I’m around animals, all kinds of animals, I just love all of them. Because of this, I studied Animal Science.
My mum always said that my passion for animals can sometimes get out of control – one day I rescued 30 street dogs and I took all of them home with me. In my heart, there will always be space for one more haha 🙂
Hope one day in this world all animals will be loved as much as we love chocolate.
Hey there, my name is Thais, pronounced like Thai (as in Thailand) – Ees (like fleece). I was born in the south of Brazil and fell in love with New Zealand even before I moved here. During my free time, I enjoy taking to the road to explore the outdoors and feel connected to nature. I am absolutely amazed by the natural landscapes around the world, and I hope one day I can travel to see every single one of them. I love to be out in the sun and walking along the Wellington waterfront or hanging out at one of the many beaches around it 🙂
Customer Service & Health and Safety
Tēnā koutou, my name’s Thomas but everyone calls me Tomo. I moved to Wellington from Christchurch 2 years ago to shake things up. I’m studying occupational health and safety whilst working part-time at Trek so I’m sure you’ll always find sanitiser at the reception desk. I’m passionate about music, professional wrestling, dogs, and meeting new people! Feel free to pop in for a chat sometime!
HI! my name is Corey, I grew up in New Zealand and have lived in Wellington most of my life. I am super excited to be working here, meeting new people, and planning some EPIC events for Trek. Little about myself I am a sucker for a music festival and love to travel. I am a huge foodie and love to cook (I cook the best lasagne you’ll ever have ?. Also trying to be more active in my life with early morning swims and going for adventure hikes with my Husky named Nala, hopefully, you can meet her!
Hello! My name is Bayley ?
I grew up in Wellington but I’m originally from Gisborne. I am a proud Maori Citizen of New Zealand. I’ve worked at Trek for almost 2 years and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it, from meeting new people from all over the world to working with my co-workers. Trek is by far one of my favourite places to be at. A few things about me: I love beauty & makeup, it’s always been a huge passion of mine. I am a HUGE socialiser, I love going out with friends for a drink or going to festivals/raves, love a night out in welly town & I love spending time with the important people in my life, my friends and family! Don’t hesitate to come to say hello ☺️
Hey everyone! I’m Livi, The girl of ever-changing hair colours.
I’ve lived around the outskirts of Wellington almost my entire life, but am originally from Christchurch!
My favourite part of living in Wellington has always been the unique city culture, nothing more beautiful than meeting so many people from different walks of life.
I’m currently studying full-time towards my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Political Science at Victoria University, on top of working at Trek.
Some people have called me a triple threat in the past as I’m a singer, actress, and work in reception ;).
If you’re down for chats about film, music, and all things arty in the Capital, I’m your gal!
